A reputed hospital in Gurugram is looking for a qualified ECG / TMT Technician to support its non-invasive cardiology diagnostics team.
The technician will be responsible for preparing patients and conducting routine electrocardiograms (ECG) and treadmill tests (TMT) with precision. Daily responsibilities include ensuring proper electrode placement, explaining procedures to calm patient anxiety, monitoring vital signs during stress tests, and identifying critical baseline abnormalities. You will coordinate closely with the supervising physician, ensuring all reports and tracings are prepared accurately and handed over for timely clinical review.
Candidates should maintain diagnostic equipment in good working order, observe high standards of hygiene, and follow all safety protocols.
Requirements: - Relevant diploma or degree in cardiac care technology or medical diagnostics - Hands-on experience in performing ECG and assisting with TMT procedures - Basic knowledge of cardiac rhythms and vital signs monitoring - Good communication skills and compassionate patient-handling ability
