Established in 1881 by Dr Mohini Mohan Basu and Dr Pratap Chandra Mazumdar, it stands as the oldest surviving homoeopathic institution in the world, functioning under the Government of West Bengal. The campus houses an active hospital setup alongside undergraduate and postgraduate academic wings.
