Vipassana meditation courses give you a way to learn traditional mental practice in Mumbai. The center is located near Gorai Village in Borivali West, established as an expression of gratitude toward the Buddha and built to enshrine relics of the Buddha. The complex follows the tradition and teachings taught by S N Goenka, with roots traced through Sayagyi U Ba Khin, Saya Thetgyi, and Ledi Sayadaw. You can access adult ten-day courses, children's and teenager's courses, and other study schedules. The grounds also support volunteer participation through Dhamma Seva, school programs like the Mitra Upakram initiative in partnership with the Government of Maharashtra, and visitor facilities including a museum and food plaza.
