Started in May 2002 to serve the community with care for decades, this centre was founded by cardiologist Prof. Dr. P.S. Mohanamurugan, obstetrician and gynaecologist Dr. T.P. Kanagu, and diabetologist Dr. T.P. Karkandu. It focuses on offering quality care at affordable costs for people across Chennai. Located on Medavakkam Tank Road in Kilpauk, it is an ISO 9001 : 2015 Certified and NABH Accredited Hospital. The hospital features 24-hour emergency services along with intensive cardiac, medical, surgical, and obstetric units. Inpatient areas include a fully equipped operation theatre, a 6-bedded intensive care unit, and an on-site clinical lab, pharmacy, and scan centre. You can access non-invasive cardiac evaluation at the Chennai Heart Centre, including colour Doppler echocardiography and treadmill tests. The facility also houses the KM IVF centre for assisted reproduction treatments, along with dedicated units for diabetology, laparoscopic surgeries, and high-risk pregnancy care.
