B.Sc Nursing training is provided at this institution along with courses in General Nursing. Established in 2006, the college functions under the KANATE Foundation, a public charitable trust, and forms a key unit of Lourde Education Academy in Taliparamba near Thalassery. Students attend classes in well-ventilated rooms fitted with audio-visual equipment like LCDs, OHPs, and blackboards. The campus houses fully furnished laboratories, hostel facilities, internet access, and photocopying services. You also have access to dedicated cells including the Student Support and Guidance Programme (SSGP) and an anti-ragging unit. For clinical training, four-year B.Sc Nursing candidates gain hands-on practice through the 150-bed parent facility, Lourde Hospital. Practical rotations also cover Aster MIMS Hospital in Chala, Govt Taluk Hospital in Taliparamba, Maxminds Rehabilitation Centre in Payyanur, and the Govt Mental Health Center in Calicut.
