Dr. Rema V. Nair and Dr. Velayuthan Nair helped establish Sree Mookambika College of Nursing under the Padanilam Welfare Trust in 1997. Set inside the Velayudhan Pillai Memorial Hospital complex near the market junction in Kulasekharam, the institute trains students directly on an active hospital ground. You can study diverse nursing tracks here, from entry diplomas to postgraduate degrees. The curriculum includes practical clinical postings in departments like Medical Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Obstetric and Gynecological Nursing, Community Health Nursing, and Mental Health Nursing.
